Reservation and Payment Terms

Your booking for any tour will only be confirmed provided space is available and the non refundable deposit of $200 has been received. The final balance is payable 60 days prior to commencement of the tour. The deposit is neither transferable nor refundable.

If booking less than 60 days prior to the commencement of the tour, full payment is required.

If You Cancel

In the event of you or someone in your booking party being unable to travel, we reserve the right to retain the deposit and/or the installment paid in respect of the tour, at its sole and absolute discretion.

Where the final balance has been paid, you can request a refund of the final balance, provided a period of more than 60 days notice is received. 

Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will have to pay the applicable percentage of the total booking price by way of cancellation charges set out below:

If We Cancel a Tour

We would cancel a tour as a result of:

1. Force Majeure or

2. Minimum numbers have not been met
Our tours rely on a minimum number of participants and as such A Brush with Jordan reserves the right to cancel a tour if numbers fall below the required minimum.  We would notify you of any decision to cancel 60 days prior to tour dates.  A full refund will be offered or your deposit can be transferred to alternative tour dates.

Pricing

Our tours are priced in US dollars. The Jordanian Dinar is currently pegged to the USD and this provides stability with our pricing.

Insurance

You MUST have travel insurance to join our tours.

We recommend your insurance for your trip to include personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability. It is advisable to include cancellation, loss of luggage and loss of personal effects. Insurance is best taken out at the time of booking.

Visa and Travel Documents

You are responsible for any passports, visas, health certificates, international driving licences and other travel documents required for your tour. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. We do not accept liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country en route to your tour due to failure on your part to comply with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.

Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your trip.

Changes to Itinerary

We will do our best not to make any significant alteration to your tour, we reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors in your Tour details both before and after bookings have been confirmed. It is anticipated that changes will be minor. We will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.

Force Majeure

Force Majeure refers to any unusual or unforeseen situations beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care has been exercised. These include, but are not limited to industrial disputes, civil strife, natural disasters, bad weather, epidemic, terrorist activity, threat of war. This also includes the potential for significant building work outside your accommodation unknown to us before your arrival.

Level of Fitness

Our tours require  a considerable amount of walking. We use the following levels as a guide. We want you to have the best time on our tours. If you suffer from any condition that might affect your enjoyment of the tour, please consult with your doctor prior to travel.

Level 1

You are able to walk on uneven surfaces unaided and enjoy activities with more strenuous exercise.

Level 2

You are able to walk on uneven surfaces unaided and you do not need any foreseen assistance.

Level 3

You are able to walk on uneven surfaces unaided but require assistance getting on and off various modes of transport.

Photography and Filming License

A Brush with Jordan retains the right to use any photos or recordings taken during its tours for marketing and promotional purposes. Please advise us prior to the tour should you not wish to participate.

Data Protection

We need to use the personal information you provide us in order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements. This includes as name, address, special needs, medical, health,

dietary or mobility requirements. We may pass on personal information to other relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements such as hotels and transport companies. Your personal information may also be provided to credit and debit card companies, security and/or credit checking companies, government and enforcement agencies, public authorities such as customs and immigration, if required by them, or as required by law.  

We do not share data with any company that is not relevant to your booking.
